Ehrbar Engineering introduces a rear wing designed for both realistic proportions and enhanced performance in 1/10 electric F1 cars.

Recognizing that the role of aerodynamics in RC racing remains under discussion, this wing was developed to eliminate the need to choose between realistic looks and performance for those who care about both. After evaluating a range of commercially available rear wings, the basic dimensions were established based on competitive standards.

Using extensive CFD simulations—conducted in Ehrbar Engineering’s own “virtual windtunnel”—combined with on-track testing and practical experience, a design was achieved that offers high downforce with relatively low drag. The high downforce improves rear stability, while the low drag helps to maintain front grip by reducing aerodynamic unloading.

The wing is produced via 3D printing, features a two-part upper element for optimized aerodynamic behavior and enhanced realism, and includes aerodynamically shaped pylon supports that connect to the standard attachment points, so it works with all current 1/10 F1 cars.
